Jennifer Pavlet - Ms. Pavlet received her Juris Doctorate degree from UCLA Law School in 1992. At UCLA, she was Comments Editor of the UCLA Law Review and a member of the Environmental Policy Law Journal. Ms. Pavlet earned her A.B. in Human Biology, with distinction, from Stanford University in 1986.

Ms. Pavlet began her legal career in 1992 as a member of the Washington State Bar, practicing with the Seattle firm of Riddell, Williams, Bullitt & Walkinshaw in the areas of civil litigation, environmental law, maritime law, intellectual property, and trade secret litigation. She subsequently became a member of the California State Bar in 1994 and moved to the Monterey Peninsula, where she continued her civil law practice in state and federal courts, including representation of numerous business entities, public entities, municipalities, school districts, and individuals.
Ms. Pavlet's legal practice has spanned the areas of real property, land use, agricultural, premises liability, contract disputes, construction defect, and business litigation for clients in Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara Counties, as well as across the State of California. She has handled all aspects of civil litigation up to jury and court trials, as well as numerous mediations and arbitrations. Ms. Pavlet has also advised and negotiated for clients in a variety of complex transactional matters.

From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Pavlet acted as Associate General Counsel for Pebble Beach Company, the internationally renowned resort owner of Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish, Spanish Bay Golf Links, Casa Palmero, The Spa at Casa Palmero, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Old Del Monte Golf Course. Her duties for the company encompassed from in-house legal representation in real property, contract, employment, licensing, trademarks, and intellectual property matters, including extensive transactional work on the annual Concourse d'Elegance international car show and 2010 U.S. Open events.

Memberships:
Ms. Pavlet is a member and past Board member of the Monterey County Bar Association, a member and past President of the Monterey County Women Lawyer's Association, and a member of the San Benito County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, as well as the Northern and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court. Ms. Pavlet resides in the Corral de Tierra area of Monterey County with her husband and two children. Jennifer enjoys hiking along the beaches and open lands of Monterey County, camping with her family and pet mastiff, book club reading, and wine tasting.
